JÓHANN EYFELLS - A FORCE IN NATURE (Directed by Hayden Yates) VIDEO EXAMPLE

2011-2017 | Austin & Fredericksburg, TX

• This documentary followed the late Jóhann Eyfells, an Icelandic artist living in ​Fredericksburg, TX. In his nineties, he continued to produce large scale sculptures involving ​boulders and honor the legacy of his late wife, a prolific painter in her own right.
  
• Winner Best Documentary film at Hill Country Film Festival, Official Selection at fests in ​Reykjavik, Paris, Orlando, & Madrid
  
• Select Screenings at Universities and other educational settings
  
• Recipient of a $5000 film grant from Austin Film Society. Raised additional $20K funds to ​take production to Iceland

BUT WHERE THERE’S HOPE, THERE’S LIFE (DANCE FILM) PLAY VIDEO

2020 | BRYAN/COLLEGE STATION, TX

• Funded through educational grants, this series captures a dozen dance numbers focused on ​the Holocaust
  
• Worked with a variety of talent - Dance Choreographers, Texas A&M Dance Program, ​Director of Photography, multi-cam video crew, Rudder Theater stage crew on A&M campus
  
• Monitored production and post-production to stay on schedule (3 days of shooting and 1 ​month of editing)
  
• Currently planning for cinematic production that will take place off the stage
